• I have been using Ben Nye for the past 7 years now and I am still a faithful user. The colors are long lasting and do not "fly away" like other cosmetic counter brands. My favorite basic colors are black, espresso, and bronze. Just these three shades give me my basic look for day AND evening (just vamp up the black for a more dramatic look befitting for nights out).

I've had this product for a while, but never really "put it to the test". I use it along my lashlines for eyeliner as opposed to eyeshadow. It had proved great for everyday use to prevent eyeliner and mascara meltdown. Last night I wore it underneath my eyeliner and mascara to a hot, sweaty, gross rock concert. By the end of the night, everything else was a mess, but my eyes still looked perfect! I swear by this stuff.

I tried this product after using a similar type product found on Amazon and it is fantastic. All you need is a little dab to get great results. Apply let dry, and use you shadows as you would in any other scenario. Just this time you may notice a difference in the way that the shadows appear more vibrant or like my son said to me while applying my makeup this morning....."Mommy you look like a clown" So now I have a whole new way of applying makeup and am very thankful for this product.

I've never really used primer before, but after hearing all the rave about Urban Decay's eyeshadow primer, I thought I'd try it out. Maybe I just have super oily skin, but sadly, it didn't help my eye makeup stay put any longer.

I usually do not wear shimmer eyeshadow in the daytime, but this brand allows a bit of daytime shimmer. Everyone complimented how beautiful my hazel green eyes stood out against the green shadow and made my eyes "pop" which I always wanted to have happen. I will be buying Urban Decay eyeshadows from now on.

I have this in Midnight Cowboy and it's very pretty. It's very glittery so watch out! But I still wear it near every day. It brightens up my whole face. I have golden brown eyes and they look bright and pretty with this. My friend has green eyes and hers look dazzling as well. Very versatile! It's not so glittery that it's evening shadow if you keep the eyeliner to a minimum. I might not wear it to the office, but for everything else it's great! If you're having trouble keeping the glitter on your eyes instead of your face, here are two great tricks. One, eyeshadow primers are bogus (overpriced and useless). You know that awful cakey gross foundation you bought that you can't wear on your face but haven't thrown out? Well put some of that on your eyelids before the shadow. Then PRESS (do NOT rub) the shadow onto your lids with your finger. I highly recommend this!

This product does exactly as it says! Eyeshadow and eyeliner stay on with NO creasing for up to 24 hours. My eye makeup was almost perfect and didn't fade or smudge even after sleeping all night! Colors are more vivid and makes eyeshadow easier to apply and you won't have to use as much as your normally would without using the primer. Great product!

i love this stuff! it does actually help eyeshadow and eyeliner stay on and not crease. i have pretty deep set eyes, so my eyeshadow is always creasing or coming off on my upper eyelids. but this stuff makes that not a problem. plus the bottle is super freaking cute!

• I am a big fan of silver eyeshadow and have tried many over the years. Then I found Stila's eyeshadow in Twilight and have not strayed since. It is the perfect shade of silver with just enough sparkle. You can use it for a daytime look or a dramatic night time look. I highly recommend it.


• I went into a Sephora store to get color matched for night-look eyeshadow. I found it to be a tricky thing since my eyes are such a rare color--amber yellow. They hooked me up with Kitten, Sun, Charm, and Viola. But I've found that these colors are so versatile that you can use them for night and day looks. For night I just double up on the amount of each for a stunning effect. Sun is great all over the eye, Charm for the lower lid, Viola for the crease, and Kitten makes the perfect highlighter. These colors have a long stay ability too which makes them wonderful additions (and addictions) for the makeup lover OR the natural girl that needs a boost.


• These colors are subtle, blend beautifully and the pan is generously sized. So if you find a favorite (mine is Bouquet, a subtle pink good for a base), you have something that lasts and lasts. The pan can go into a replaceable palette, and that's good for the environment. The size is large enough to conveniently use a brush. Many colors can be use wet for liners.

• I love this palette. It is absolutely beautiful and an absolute must have if you want to try out Stila eye-shadows. They are all extremely soft and velvety and the colors are brilliant. I'm abstaining from the blue color for now, but the rest of them are beautiful. My favorites are Kitten and Sun, and Wheat, and Prize, and basically all of them. The case is kind of small, but since the eye shadow is so pigmented, this will last you many seasons. The case itself is so beautiful. It kind of looks like plastic from the picture, but it's a coppery metal material. My only only complaint about Stila eyeshadows, which I am probably the only person in the world, but they are kind of hard to blend. Once it touches your skin, it doesn't seem to want to budge from the point of initial contact, so my Nars eyeshadow in cyprus is still my go-to color because it blends so much easier. It's easier to blend out if I use Urban Decay primer potion first, but some people have had problems with UDPP under their Stila eyeshadow. They are also pretty sparkly, so if you like matte eyeshadows, I would go for Laura Mercier (so soft and easily blendable).
