Customer Reviews

  • I just got this yesterday (I know I shouldn't review so soon) but I am having trouble putting it on. It doesn't really go on smoothly. It kinda just dries quickly. I use Kiehl's Blue Herbal moisturizer in the morning and even with that underneath, it wasn't going on smooth. I had a powder mineral foundation on in the store yesterday and I asked the girl to wipe off a lot of it so we could get the best shade. But I guess it wasn't all off so the Nude looked all right. But this morning with my bare skin, the Nude looked kinda too dark for me. I want to go back to the store with a clean face and try the lighter shade and see if that's better. But yes, my overall problem is the non-blendability. I hear the oil version is more "creamy" but I don't want to make my face break out. I will go back today and ask. But the coverage is really good!

  • If you are in a hurry - this is a pretty good product. It's a wee bit "tacky" when applying (it definitely doesn't go on as easy as an actual moisturizer). Also - it has that "sunblock smell" to it - which kind of annoys me - but may not bother the "normal" person - ha ha.

  • My skin is crazy. Sometimes it's oily like there is no tomorrow and sometimes it's super dry. I haven't really noticed if it correlates with the seasons or not, but either way, once i found Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer, my dreams came true. It offers just the perfect amount of coverage without making my skin oily. It's also spf 20, which probably isn't enough protection, but it's better than nothing. And like many of the other reviewers said, it saves you time. Moisturize and foundation in one. I normally go over certain spots with concealer, but it does wonders for my skin.

  • I read somewhere that Sarah Jessica Parker says this stuff makes her face "glow", yeah, it made me look pasty. And it actually didn't settle into my skin evenly. Not happy with this product at all, but will still use it as sunscreen as it seems to do the job.

  • I use this for my make-up. I don't use foundation. It is just the right amount of coverage. I love it! I'm 61 and have tried many, many different kinds of make-up and this is the best.

  • I have purchased this twice, thinking that I had bought the wrong color for my skin tone. It isn't an inexpensive product, so I ended up spending over $80 for it.

It wasn't my skin tone, it was the product. I have read so many raves about this stuff, but it seems heavy and goopy, and looks artificial. If I wanted this kind of product, I would have been just as well getting a drug store foundation and saved the money.

I tried to purchase this in person, but the only way to get this is on line. So there is not really any choice in testing it out.

    Save your money.
