• It's always been hard for me to find an eyeliner that goes on smoothly and delivers the perfect color. Before using this eyeliner, I could never find a product that went on this great. Other eyeliners go in chalky, rough, and dull. I love this product, except the color just doesn't stay. I believe that the fact that I'm a contact lens wearer, which makes my eyes watery. So if you have watery eyes or wear contacts, expect to re-apply often.


• Not my favorite...I like Avon glimmer stick. Liner disappears during the day. The tiny bit of shadow (hidden in the middle) does not even show on my eyes.


• I am hopeless when it comes to doing my eyeliner (can never get the line straight with pencils) so I had given up for years... until I found the Stila eyeliner/eyeshadow combo. It's so smooth which is great for sensitive skins and has the bonus sponge tip. The eyeshadow has a little sparkle which makes eyes look sexy. I never leave home without it now!

• I am a big fan of silver eyeshadow and have tried many over the years. Then I found Stila's eyeshadow in Twilight and have not strayed since. It is the perfect shade of silver with just enough sparkle. You can use it for a daytime look or a dramatic night time look. I highly recommend it.


• I went into a Sephora store to get color matched for night-look eyeshadow. I found it to be a tricky thing since my eyes are such a rare color--amber yellow. They hooked me up with Kitten, Sun, Charm, and Viola. But I've found that these colors are so versatile that you can use them for night and day looks. For night I just double up on the amount of each for a stunning effect. Sun is great all over the eye, Charm for the lower lid, Viola for the crease, and Kitten makes the perfect highlighter. These colors have a long stay ability too which makes them wonderful additions (and addictions) for the makeup lover OR the natural girl that needs a boost.


• These colors are subtle, blend beautifully and the pan is generously sized. So if you find a favorite (mine is Bouquet, a subtle pink good for a base), you have something that lasts and lasts. The pan can go into a replaceable palette, and that's good for the environment. The size is large enough to conveniently use a brush. Many colors can be use wet for liners.

Have always hated pencil liners, yet any makeup in the form of a pencil. It needs sharpening and wastes product in the sharpener. These smudge pots have their pros and cons. Pros; staying power once applied and dried is amazing, easy to smudge before it dries, less waste of product in a pot, heck you can even use a q-tip like I do to apply (works as good as a brush if you master it), inky intensity is dark especially the black is really black not dark grey, pot lasts long time even if you apply everyday. Cons; after applying the product dries in a matter of five seconds so smudge upon application, keep that lid closed tight all times even during application to avoid product drying out thus can be hard to work with, with staying power comes hard to remove with standard soap and water, but you can use olive oil or eye makeup remover to help out. Still I give this product max stars, have cobalt blue and black. I hear blue liner is the new black but in my opinion a fun change! I recommend this liner just give it a try and practice applying with brush or q-tip.

NOTHING works as well as this. It lasts a very long time on your eyes, you won't even have to reapply if you go out in the evening after work. As long as you use a thin brush and follow your lash line the application is smooth and even. The reviewer who wrote that it didn't go on well must have been riding on a gravel road while applying! LOL. Enjoy!

I wear pretty heavy eye makeup on a daily basis. I love the Smudge Pots b/c you can apply them sparingly or an enhancement effect or lay it on thick for a more intense look. They have great consistency that's easy to manipulate and the color gets deeper the more you use. Be sure to let it dry, because they can smudge (in a bad way)

• I love this palette. It is absolutely beautiful and an absolute must have if you want to try out Stila eye-shadows. They are all extremely soft and velvety and the colors are brilliant. I'm abstaining from the blue color for now, but the rest of them are beautiful. My favorites are Kitten and Sun, and Wheat, and Prize, and basically all of them. The case is kind of small, but since the eye shadow is so pigmented, this will last you many seasons. The case itself is so beautiful. It kind of looks like plastic from the picture, but it's a coppery metal material. My only only complaint about Stila eyeshadows, which I am probably the only person in the world, but they are kind of hard to blend. Once it touches your skin, it doesn't seem to want to budge from the point of initial contact, so my Nars eyeshadow in cyprus is still my go-to color because it blends so much easier. It's easier to blend out if I use Urban Decay primer potion first, but some people have had problems with UDPP under their Stila eyeshadow. They are also pretty sparkly, so if you like matte eyeshadows, I would go for Laura Mercier (so soft and easily blendable).
